Hello, I’m Yvette, founder of Loving Life Loving — an online travel and lifestyle magazine where every experience is a love affair with life.

My love of travel began long before it became my profession. Childhood family holidays sparked a curiosity that has continued to shape how I see the world, inspiring a lifelong passion for thoughtful journeys, meaningful experiences and places that stay with you long after you return home.

Professionally, I come armed with a BA (Hons) in European Tourism and an MA in Airline and Airport Management. Across my career, I have held operational and management roles within tour operators, airlines and corporate travel agencies, as well as leading pilot-training programmes. That blend of academic insight, industry experience and personal curiosity sits at the heart of Loving Life Loving today.

Travel has taken me to five continents, with two still waiting to be explored. Each journey has added another layer to the way I write, curate and connect with the world — not simply through where to go, but through how travel makes us feel, reflect and live more beautifully.

As Loving Life Loving continues to grow, the journey is evolving from inspiration into beautifully curated travel through The Wanderlust Edit — a boutique travel service for design-led, deeply personal escapes.

The Wanderlust Edit exists for travellers who want more than a standard itinerary. Whether it is barefoot luxury in the Maldives, a wine-soaked road trip through Provence, a spontaneous city break, a slow Italian countryside stay or a bespoke cruise adventure, every journey begins with a blank canvas.

At The Wanderlust Edit, all bookings are made through Colletts Travel Limited and are arranged under their licence, with Colletts Travel Limited acting as the licence holder.     Bermuda is among my top choices for its delectable Goslings Rum, stunning beaches, delicious food, and warm-hearted people. Spain holds a special place in my heart, especially since it was a frequent destination during my childhood. Madrid, in particular, stands out with its vibrant local markets and lively atmosphere. Lastly, Singapore captivates me with its futuristic cityscape, rich cultural heritage, and diverse culinary scene.

    My go-to airline is British Airways. I’ve been flying with them since university. I particularly love their BA Holidays section. I use it for most of my trips. Another favourite is Qantas. I appreciate their spirit and hospitality. It’s the one organisation I wish I could have worked for. Additionally, I have a special connection with Finnair. I was fortunate to be interviewed for their inflight magazine during the launch of their A350. I had the unique experience of being on the inaugural flight from Heathrow to Helsinki.

    I started blogging in 2010 and enjoyed sharing my travel experiences and lifestyle tips. But after a few years, I took a break from blogging. At that time, I felt uninspired. I needed to prioritise my work commitments. This left little room for maintaining the blog. Recently, I’ve achieved a much better work/life balance, allowing me to rediscover my passion for blogging. I’m excited to engage with my readers again. I will share new content that reflects my renewed enthusiasm for travel and lifestyle topics.
