Unveiling My Top Ten Luxury Hotels Around the World
I have embarked on an indulgent journey devoted to discovering high-end accommodations. I have been extremely fortunate to have stayed in some luxurious hotels. The hotels listed herein range from the glittering urban landscapes of Dubai to the serene surroundings of Uluru. Each hotel has earned recognition for its exceptional standards in hospitality. They also excel in sophistication and indulgence. In this curated compilation, I present my top ten luxury hotels. They are listed in no particular order. This is based on my personal experiences and preferences during my global travels. These esteemed establishments have consistently provided an elevated experience marked by opulence and refined elegance.
Fairmont The Palm, Dubai:
Nestled on the iconic Palm Jumeirah, Fairmont The Palm redefines luxury in Dubai. It does so with its contemporary design, Arabian charm, and private beach. The opulent Willow Stream Spa enhances the hotel’s allure, creating a haven of tranquillity for guests. The hotel provides breathtaking views of the Arabian Gulf. These views epitomise the essence of luxury living in the heart of the city. The seamless blend of modern elegance and Middle Eastern aesthetics creates an immersive experience. This experience transcends traditional hospitality. Fairmont The Palm stands as a beacon of luxury living. It offers panoramic vistas, a private beach retreat, and a world-class spa. All of this is on the crescent of this iconic archipelago. I will be making a long overdue return to the hotel this summer. I will spend 10 days there for rest, relaxation and fine dining.
Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, Arizona:
Immersed in the Sonoran Desert, the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess seamlessly integrates luxury with nature. It combines lush gardens, championship golf courses, and the rejuvenating Willow Stream Spa. This offers an oasis of sophistication in the heart of Arizona. This resort harmoniously blends the beauty of the desert landscape with the highest standards of hospitality. Guests find themselves in a tranquil haven that embraces both opulence and the serene allure of the surrounding environment. The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess stands as a testament to indulgence. It also celebrates the natural wonders of the Sonoran Desert. It creates an unparalleled experience for those seeking a retreat in the heart of Arizona. I was here post-surgery. I treated myself to the Fairmont Gold Junior Suite. Sadly, I was only there for one night. I spent the afternoon relaxing in the spa. In the evening, I dined at Toro Latin Restaurant and Rum Bar, a short transfer from the main reception.
Fairmont Hamilton Princess, Bermuda:
Nestled on the waterfront in the city of Hamilton, the Fairmont Hamilton Princess & Beach Club – A Fairmont Managed Hotel in Bermuda beckons with a wealth of art installations. It also features local shops. This iconic “Pink Palace” enjoys a historic legacy. It has hosted esteemed guests such as Mark Twain. It also played a role as a WWII intelligence station. Discover an island retreat of extraordinary luxury and tranquillity, situated in an idyllic locale with a full-service marina. The hotel seamlessly blends timeless charm with modern amenities, symbolising Bermuda’s allure through its rich history and sumptuous accommodations. However, Carvel is more iconic than the hotel. He is the man at the door, a true Bermudian. He is welcoming and extremely entertaining! This was the perfect way to end our Bermudian stay. I cannot wait to return for the warm welcomes and a few Dark’N Stormies.

It is one of the best bars in Vegas. They serve classic cocktails with a flair. They will also make drinks on request.

The drinks menu might change. However, the staff will also make me my favourite cocktail – Lemon Meringue! The Berkeley was the former home of the Michelin-starred Marcus restaurant. It is an establishment I’ll dearly miss dining in. This London gem effortlessly blends classic British charm with contemporary sophistication, creating an atmosphere of refined indulgence. And, if like me you enjoy afternoon tea and the latest fashion – then Prêt À Portea is a must. The catwalk collections and fashion icons are transformed into delicate dainties. You can enjoy them with a glass of champagne or two!

The Ritz-Carlton boasts views over the F1 circuit. It also offers Bath Butlers to curate the perfect tranquil bath. The hotel presents an enticing question: Why would you want to leave? The hotel offers a luxurious escape. It also serves as a captivating haven. Every detail contributes to an extraordinary stay in the vibrant heart of Singapore. Make sure you visit Republic and ask for a “Flaming Lamborghini”!
